D.W.R. Services PTY LTD was established in 1974. The business founders were Frank Dominelli, a qualified builder, Stephen Whitford, a qualified plumber and gas fitter with experience in in air conditioning and Harvey Robinson, also with air conditioning experience.

The three enterprising young men came together with the aim of providing service and products of proven quality and reliability.

They combined their surname initials to form the title DWR Services and it was from that day onwards a fledging business began establishing its reputation in the district.

In 1977 Frank Dominelli was forced to retire due to ill health and his share of the business was purchased by the two remaining partners.

On June 16, 1977, DWR Services Pty Ltd was officially registered as the firm's reputation for quality work at competitive prices was beginning to spread. Only one year after opening DWR Services put on it's first apprentice and began a proud tradition of training that has seen more than 40 young people pass through it's doors.

In 1979, Mr Robinson's son Ashley started an apprenticeship as a plumber and gas fitter.

In 1989 Mr Robinson retired and sold his 50 percent share of the company to Ashley and joined Mr Whitford as joint director.

In 2004 Mr. Whitford retired and sold his 50 percent share to Anna Radies and Ashley Robinson. Anna now joins Ashley as a director.
